This is the most important phase in the development process. Information gathering and get into an agreement with you on the original requirements you have as a project sponsor.
Many things need to be taken into consideration when we design the look and feel of your site, so we first ask a lot of questions to help us understand your business and your needs in a web site.
Based on the requirement study and the specifications you give, we generate a proposal for the project which will mainly contain the scope statements, the time frame and cost.
Both parties need to come into an agreement on the proposal. Once we both agree on the proposal, we would ask for the first fraction of the total project cost to kick start the project.
Once the upfront payment is made we will move on to the planning phase which pave the backbone to the entire development procedures
This is the phase where the development plan and project final deliverable is generated.
Based on the information gathered from phase one, we put together a development plan for your web site. Here we develop a list of all main topic areas and sub-topics of the site
We will prepare a deliverable document which is the key file through which you will understand what is offered is being delivered or not.
From Mindbees’s resource pool we will identify the best team who is capable to deliver the project in hand successfully.
The look and feel and the generic user interface is defined in this phase
The website design is done in layered PSDs by our experienced designers. Internal review is done and further updates are done on the design to satisfy the requirement of the site.
You will get the design mockups for review and further updates are done on the site based on your feedback. Iterative updates are done until you are satisfied with the design.
The approved static designs are then coded in valid responsive html/css. We take much care to do clean and SEO friendly coding with no platform dependency.
The coded pages are further send for your review and subsequent change requests on UI if any is addressed at this stage
The html and css validation, cross browser testing, device testing are done. The files will be moved to development only after getting a positive test report from the tester.
The functional development of the design is done at this stage.
Based on your requirement and the complexity of the website, we either choose an opensource CMS like WordPress, joomla or Magento or develop a more controllable custom solution for the website
You will get progress updates on completion of intermediate modules so that you can throw in few changes as the project progresses and get the confidence that the project is in right track.
We will perform bug fixing and further updates based on test reports and your feedback.
At this point, we attend to the final details and test your web site.
We test things such as the complete functionality of forms or other scripts, we test for last minute compatibility issues
A consolidated test report is generated on the unit, functionality and performance tests. The site is ready to launch if all or about 95% of the test report is marked success. There are few fixes that could be done after launching to live environment which is done in a maintenance mode in the live server.
Any data to be inserted to the site is added at this stage. Also any search engine optimizations tasks to be performed is done at this stage.
Once we receive your final approval, it is time to deliver the site. in most cases,we upload the files to your server. Else, we will provide all the source codes and files to you in a zip format.
We will test the site in live environment and do any bug fixing if necessary. A final review report is generated on the performance of the website
